Recent contract awards: I am honored and proud to announce a new professional relationship as literary representative with Waterside Productions. Two writers I represent have recently been awarded revision contracts by the Dummies series publisher Wiley in New York. One title, the “Dummies for GRE” with author Ron Woldoff; and the second “Dummies for Calculus” with ASU professor Yang Kuang should be on the shelves of the major book sellers by January 2011. Writing a book and designing a book cover are two different things. A cover REPRESENTS a manuscript but is NOT a manuscript. Designing a book cover one needs to put themselves in the place of a first time customer. A book can't be judged by its cover but that may be how it's bought. Unless the author is present to sell each book personally, a prospective client may only be able to judge whether he buys the book by its cover. Target market, color, copy,
